History of LocalGravity

LocalGravity was established in 2011 and is redefining the ways that multi-unit retailers and chain restaurant operators plan growth opportunities for new trade areas around the world. The founders of LocalGravity learned first-hand the challenges of gaining objective insights into emerging and unfamiliar commercial areas in Asia, Europe, North America and beyond. Location data is increasingly hyperlocal and is often anecdotal, biased, or just plain inaccurate. Our data, tools and consulting focuses on improving our clients’ operational coverage planning and providing timely information on the competitors and development of commercial locations.

What We Believe

COMMERCE OPPORTUNITIES ARE GLOBAL, BUT THE NECESSARY INFORMATION TO MAKE GOOD DECISIONS ABOUT WHERE AND WHEN TO EXPAND ARE VERY LOCAL AND TEND TO BE BOTH SUBJECTIVE AND BIASED. SUCCESSFUL RETAILERS AND RESTAURANT OPERATORS AROUND THE WORLD NEED ACCURATE AND OBJECTIVE LOCAL INFORMATION WITHIN A SIMPLE AND STANDARDIZED VISUAL FORMAT THAT CAN BE INTEGRATED INTO THEIR COVERAGE PLANNING, COMPETITIVE TRACKING AND SITE SELECTION PROCESSES. AND WHEN THAT INFORMATION IS INTUITIVE AND AVAILABLE ON A MOBILE DEVICE, ANALYSTS IN THE FIELD CAN BECOME EVEN MORE EFFECTIVE.
